The few drawbacks, one of which a major one were: We Were greeted upon entering the building by a handwritten sign stating that they have NO CRABMEAT (Yes this is a Maryland seafood restaurant on the water that has no crabmeat) while half of their menu are crab related dishes. Having said that, the setting of the place was so nice that we would go back and give them another try. I understand that stuff happens but fulfilling orders is the main job of a restaurant, so this restaurant needs to reevaluate its processes. So the rest of us were done when my wife’s order arrived. After considerable delay we asked the server who took our order, “I assume her order is coming,” and she responded, “I assume it is.” She did check and advised us that they had no staff to shuck oysters and my wife would need to order something else. We assumed the server (different person from who took our order) would come back with the third. The three of us placed our orders and two of them arrived just fine but the third (my wife’s order for oysters on the half shell) didn’t. Our server was nice service was a bit slow but we were fine with that because it was a holiday and the place was nice. It was a beautiful day and the view and vibe were great.
We dined here on Labor Day and sat outside.
